Patches are a much-appreciated reward for your finishers. With an embroidered or woven patch on a sports bag, jacket or training kit, their achievement remains visible. Patches are particularly popular at Hyrox and walking events, but can of course also be awarded to the volunteers at your event, for example.

At PROM’ES, you can choose between embroidered or woven finisher patches. Embroidered patches have a textured feel, as thick threads are stitched onto a fabric backing. Woven patches are smoother and more detailed: thin threads are tightly woven together to form a refined design. As a result, embroidered patches are usually slightly thicker than woven ones. Opt for a woven patch if your design is complex or contains lots of small details.

Patches can be attached in various ways. You can sew the patch directly onto clothing or fabric, or choose a heat-activated adhesive backing that allows you to iron the patch onto the fabric. Single-sided or double-sided hook-and-loop tape is also an option. With single-sided velcro, the hook side – the rough side – is on the back of the patch. This allows you to attach the patch to soft surfaces, such as felt, or to the loop side of your own velcro. With double-sided hook-and-loop tape, the hook side is on the patch and the loop side is supplied in the same shape, so you can attach it yourself to the desired surface.
