More and more organisations outsource the fulfilment of race numbers to us. Packing and sending race numbers is an extension of our race number production and chip service. PROM'ES also takes care of the fulfilment of race numbers for the Dam tot Damloop.
With 60,000 participants, this year's Dam tot Damloop was once again completely sold out. Jonathan Kamosong from Kenya was the surprise winner in the men's race. He ran the world's largest 10-mile race in a time of 46:09. In an exciting neck-and-neck race with last year's winner, Asayech Ayichew, Kenya's Hellen Obiri showed her world-class talent in the final sprint. The athlete clocked a time of 50.51, which was just not enough to break the course record (50.31, 1987).
The envelope is the first impression of an event. As soon as the envelope lands on the participant's doormat, the excitement begins! Various envelope sizes have been selected for the Dam tot Damloop, matching the contents and suitable for flawless processing in our envelope stuffing machine.
PROM’ES is responsible for fulfilment of the 60,000 participants envelopes for the Dam tot Damloop. Participants in the ten English Miles will, of course, receive their race number and a special NN Dam tot Damloop clothing bag. They can hand this in at the clothing collection point on Stationsplein in Amsterdam and will then receive a sticker with a number so they can collect the bag again in Zaandam. For the Mini Dam tot Damloop and the Heroes Run, coach race numbers and buddy race numbers without chips are included in the package. When registering for the Dam tot Damloop, participants can optionally order additional items. PROM'ES also takes care of the packaging of these additional items, BibBits and running shirts. Packaging shirts in particular is a complex logistical challenge. Each distance has its own shirt variant, in women's and men's versions and in sizes XS to XXXL.
The Dam tot Damloop has the largest Business Run in the world. With a team of at least five and at most ten colleagues, you run five or ten English miles.
PROM'ES takes care of packaging the race numbers for the no less than 3,000 business teams. These teams receive a package with five or ten race numbers, pins and clothing bags. They also receive tokens for refreshments at the festival grounds. The person organising the event within the company receives a wristband and a free running shirt. Companies also have the option of ordering extra running shirts, tokens and snack vouchers during registration. Each package is put together and packaged individually.
No later than the week of the event, Dutch participants in the Dam tot Damloop and the companies will receive the race numbers by post. PROM’ES delivers the shipment to PostNL. This way, your organisation benefits from our favourable rates.
